Ken is married to Wendy and is a father of five — Luke, Hannah, Louis, Shea and Molly. Ken is extremely thankful for the loving support of his family who constantly inspire him - especially Wendy, who journeys with him through all of the challenges of life, while being supportive and loving at all turns. Ken enjoys hiking, roller skating, biking, teaching and sports of all sorts. Born in Long Island, New York, Ken attended James Madison University, graduated with a BA in English, earned a teaching certificate, and now teaches Theatre. Ken discovered a passion for Theatre in college while playing Jerry in The Zoo Story and performed in student experimental theatre shows at Wampler Hall and on the Mainstage. For a time in the 90’s Ken acted in Waiting for Godot every Bastille Day. Ken has appeared in shows in NYC and England winning an acting award for his performance as George in The Actor’s Nightmare. While in England, Ken trained as a Circus Artist touring the country teaching young people how to juggle, unicycle and tightrope walk. Ken has had such a great time working with all of our students over the past 2.5 years he’s been here and looks forward to many more.
